Pajama -rama

Pajamas are my weekend go to, and I don't just mean for sleeping. I will regularly spend an entire day in my PJs and I'm not ashamed of it. I tend to wear a baggy t-shirt and boxers, sometimes even athletic shorts, but lately I've been craving something cuter. I really love the vintage-y pajama sets that have been popping up over the last few seasons, but I'm not in love with the price tag. No way am I paying $100 for jammies. I'm also a fan of the camisole and shorts sets... but maybe not the best for lounging on the couch with my roommates (and whoever else drops by) around. Below are few PJ sets that I'm a fan of, and hopefully I'll start incorporating a few of these into my nighttime (*cough* anytime) routine.

1. J. Crew, $85

2. Nordstrom, $34.80

3. J. Crew (via Net-A-Porter), $85

4. Cosabella, $110

5. Victoria's Secret, $45

6. Flora Nikrooz, $88

7. Tory Burch, $75

8. Juicy Couture, $58

Weekly Wants

Hey y'all! No real theme to this weeks picks, but I'm really obsessed with all of them!

1. Robinson Spectator Tote, Tory Burch
I've been lusting after this bag for a few weeks and now that it is on sale (!!!)I might just take the plunge. I'm a tote bag fanatic and think that this would make the perfect summer work bag to replace the Longchamp I've been carrying forever.

2. Callahan Shorts in Resort White She's a Firecracker Glow, Lily Pulitzer
My mom actually found these for me and I think they are super cute! I love some good ol' holiday themed apparel and these would be just perfect for the 4th (bonus that they also glow in the dark).

3. Citron de Vigne Eau de Parfum, Fresh
One of my BFFs recently bought the roll on version of this perfume and it is amazing. It has a light, clean scent that's perfect for summer and I'm definitely going to buy some as soon as possible. H/t to HEE for discovering this one.

4. Xhiliration Skull Print Scarf, Target
I saw these scarves a few weeks ago on one of my favorite blogs, A Piece of Toast. They're super cute, and you can't beat the price. Still not 100% sure I can rock the skull print, but these are pretty enough for me to try.

5. Gigi Thong Sandals, Light Green/Silver/Neon Coral, Sam Edelman
I'm a big fan of these Sam Edelman sandals. I own them in cork, and wear them constantly. I'm looking for some fun summer sandals and these silver, mint, and coral ones fit the bill. I tend to constantly wear Jack Rogers sandals (serious love/hate relationship there), but sometimes my feet just need a break! These little guys will be perfect!

That's all for this week! I'll let you know what I end up with... my poor bank account.

Book Club

Hey y'all! So my friends and I are starting a book club, which we're referring to as the "YOLO Book Club"... don't ask. We're currently in the book selecting phase, so I need to come up with three options that would be good for a group of 20something girls and that I actually want to read.

Largely this is an excuse to keep in better touch with each other and get to drink a little wine, but I would like to read some good books in the process. If you have any suggestions for books, themes, or delicious book-themed cocktails, let me know in the comments!

A Short Story

Shorts are one of my favorite things about summer. This as an old pic that I took for my tumblr, so it isn't very well organized but does show a bit of my collection. My go to has (and probably always will be) J. Crew chinos. I love how many colors they come in, and that they come in a nice length... you won't find this girl in short shorts.

I'm also a big fan of Lily Pulitzer shorts, with all the fun patterns they come in. The floral ones in this pic are some of my favorites because of the scalloped edge.

So here is your first taste of my personal style. I'm not linking these since most are from seasons past, but if you have questions just leave me a comment!

Lizapedia!

So starting a blog is one of those things I've been talking about forever but never actually gotten around to. I've had a few concerns about whether or not this is something I should actually do....

1. Will I actually follow through with this?

I am a master procrastinator. I mean, I really take it to a whole new level. Don't get me wrong, when it comes to work and the really important stuff I always get it done and try to do a good job. However, when it comes to the rest of my life I tend to have these really grand ideas that I never quite follow through on (see father's day present from 2012 that I haven't quite finished...).

2. Do people actually care?

I'm fascinated by the blogs of other people. It's a combination of liking to look at beautiful pictures and being incredibly nosy. I love looking at other people's lives and the way that people try to portray their lives through various forms of social media, but is anyone interested in what I have to say? Jury's still out on that one...

3. Is this actually worth the time?

What I am going to get out of this. Should I work on something with no guarantee that anyone is actually going to look at it? I like to write, and take pictures, and attempt to design pretty things, but that doesn't mean I'm going to be able to generate enough relevant content to attract followers.

4. What am I actually going to put on this thing?

I'm no fashionista, but I do love clothes. You probably won't find any daring new trends on here, but you might find some cute ideas for work and weekend outfits. I also can't cook... but me attempting to follow recipes can always be an entertaining adventure. I'll try to keep my posts fun and funny, and hopefully offer something pretty look at as well. If there are things you like, things you don't, things you want to see, then be sure to let me know!

So here goes nothing. This project may be over by weeks end, but hopefully I'll stick with it for a while. You can also check out my tumblr -- lizapedia90.tumblr.com -- Which I occaisionally post originial pics on, but as of now is mostly a sort of inspiration board.
